Molecular Biology in Clinical Oncology Workshop

General Information 

Selection of Participants
The application deadline was Tuesday, March 19, 2019. The Workshop Faculty have selected a group of 50 total participants based on the materials submitted by the applicant and by the applicant’s sponsor (mentor, program supervisor, or department head; n/a for senior scientists).

Computer Requirement
All participants are required to bring a laptop to the workshop. If a participant does not have access to a laptop, they may request to borrow one for the duration of the workshop for a fee.

All participants are responsible for transportation to and from Snowmass Village, Colorado. Snowmass Village is approximately ten miles from Aspen, Colorado.  Snowmass Village can be reached by flying into the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport or the Denver International Airport.  Snowmass Village is approximately 15-20 minutes from the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport; local shuttles to/from Aspen/Pitkin Airport are provided for those staying at the Viceroy Snowmass, the conference venue.  Snowmass Village is also accessible by car or shuttle from the Denver International Airport; these arrangements are the responsibility of the participant.

Workshop Materials
Participants will receive recommended reading prior to the workshop. Faculty members will provide suggested references. Laboratory Directors will provide a detailed syllabus of the material to be covered in their hands-on laboratory sessions. Trainees will receive access to a workshop-specific website with these course materials, recommended reading, general workshop information, reminders, and opportunities to network.
