14th Annual AACR Undergraduate Student Caucus and Poster Competition

The 14th Annual AACR Undergraduate Student Caucus and Poster Competition (USCPC) took place Saturday, March 30, 2019, during the AACR Annual Meeting 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia. This session brought together undergraduate and postbaccalaureate students to address educational pathways and explore career options in the cancer field. Students can also compete for prizes while presenting their research.

Eligibility

Full-time undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students are invited to attend and may also submit an abstract for poster presentation during this special program. (Submission of an abstract for the poster competition is not required to attend this program.)

Poster Competition

All attendees at this session may choose to enter the poster competition. This is a special poster session for students and there is a separate abstract submission process from the general Annual Meeting. Students are welcome to present abstracts that will also be presented elsewhere at the meeting. We are happy to accept all cancer or cancer-related abstracts from undergraduate or post-baccalaureate students.

Poster competition winners will be awarded the Margaret Foti Foundation Undergraduate Prizes for Cancer Research. First prize consists of $1,500 for participation in the AACR Annual Meeting 2020. Second ($500) and third place ($250) prizes will also be awarded, as well as Meritorious Honors for the top 10 posters, and a People's Choice Award. Prizes are judged by AACR member scientists.
